John Bringardner is a partner and a member of the Healthcare and Medical Malpractice Practices. Mr. Bringardner, formerly partner of Romaguera, Baker, Dawson & Bringardner, P.A., is a trial attorney with a diverse background in litigating complex legal cases. Mr. Bringardner’s practice includes medical malpractice, nursing home, employment law, insurance bad faith and coverage issues, general liability, products liability, premises liability and civil rights litigation.

In addition to his trial practice experience, Mr. Bringardner has considerable experience as in house general counsel for a large multinational not for profit corporation, focusing his expertise on drafting, revising and implementing policies and procedures, negotiating and managing insurance risks, and conducting internal  risk management and employment audits of the corporation and its numerous affiliates. He also has considerable experience conducting in service training on a wide spectrum of health  care, employment, and risk management issues to assist his clients in achieving best practices in health  care.

As a former  general counsel responsible for monitoring litigation, Mr. Bringardner understands the importance of timely, concise, and accurate communication with his clients so that his clients can easily assess case value and litigation strategies. He is committed to providing his clients an early, understandable, and useful assessment of each case, tailored  to the client’s reporting needs and requirements. In addition, Mr. Bringardner is a “hands on” attorney who believes that as lead trial counsel, he should personally interview every key witness, personally review every page of every relevant document, and personally understand every technical aspect of each case. He has learned the importance of working with his clients to better understand their business or practice so he can properly formulate and present the most effective and persuasive defense of their case.

Mr. Bringardner is a frequent speaker at client forums and conferences on topics including employee relations, discrimination, negligent hiring, litigation avoidance, and risk management. Mr. Bringardner is a member of the Florida Bar and the California Bar.
