Shannon Ellison is a Senior associate attorney at Ullman Bursa Law. Shannon graduated magna cum laude from the Medical College of Georgia where she earned a B.S. in Nursing. After working as a Registered Nurse for several years, Shannon went on to earn her J.D. at the University of Georgia School of Law.
After graduating, Shannon worked for ten years at the State Attorney’s Office, 13th Judicial Circuit of Florida. As a felony Lead Trial Attorney and designated Arson Prosecutor, Shannon has tried over 100 jury trials to verdict, from third degree felonies to homicides. Shannon has also regularly participated in law enforcement trainings with the Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Shannon and her husband, Wes, have five children together. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys participating in the yearly Great American Teach In and has taught at Mitchell Elementary, Wilson Middle School, Morningstar School of Tampa, and Hillsborough High School. Shannon also volunteers at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School.
