Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) is continuing to be a leader in healthcare services by backing member facilities in the advancement of their employee’s education. As part of these efforts, FALA is proudly awarding a student scholarship locally to Brandel Dailey, of Osprey Lodge, to pursue a career as a registered nurse. Osprey Lodge is a senior living community that serves residents in the region surrounding Tavares, Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg, Lady Lake and Lake Mary. “I enjoy helping my residents have the best quality of life”, said Brandel, “ Also to see how happy and less stressed their families are when they see how well their loved ones are treated.”
The Florida Assisted Living Association is the oldest assisted living association in the state. FALA has been providing advocacy, education, and regulatory support for our members for over 25 years. FALA is the largest state association representing more than 650 assisted living facilities and adult family care homes and nearly 300 associate members who provide products and services to assisted living.
“We congratulate Brandel on being awarded our 2019 FALA Foundation Spring Scholarship”, said Brian Bursa, Esq., FALA Foundation Chair. “She has demonstrated outstanding achievement and community service while working as the Assistant Resident Service Director, at Osprey Lodge in Tavares, FL.”
The FALA Foundation scholarship process is open annually each year from January 1st – December 5th. Member facilities are encouraged to have interested personnel apply for an upcoming scholarship by visiting www.fala.org/foundation-scholarship.
